Visit the studio

Our workshop welcomes visitors by appointment. We're happy to show work in progress, discuss commission possibilities, or simply talk about ceramic process.

Location

The studio sits in a converted barn approximately twenty minutes from Zürich's city center by car. Public transport options include the S10 train to Zürich Seebach, followed by a fifteen-minute walk through residential neighborhoods.

Parking is available directly in front of the building. The entrance is through a blue door on the east side. Please ring the bell upon arrival.

Studio hours

We maintain these hours for scheduled appointments and workshop sessions. The studio is often active outside these times for kiln firings and personal work, but we ask that visits be arranged in advance.

If you're interested in visiting to see work in person, mention a few dates that work for your schedule and we'll coordinate from there.

What to expect during a visit

Studio visits typically last between thirty minutes to an hour. We'll show you current projects at various stages, explain our process, and discuss how we might approach your specific needs.

If you're considering a commission, bringing reference images or examples of aesthetics you're drawn to helps us understand your vision. These don't need to be ceramic-specific. Sometimes a photograph of architecture or a textile pattern communicates more than words can.

For workshop inquiries, we can demonstrate techniques and show examples of pieces previous participants have created. We maintain a portfolio of student work that illustrates what's realistic to accomplish in a single session.
