Each service represents a different scale of collaboration. Some projects take weeks. Others unfold over months. All begin with conversation.
Custom Tableware Collections
Complete dining sets designed for how you actually live. We start by understanding your rituals around food and gathering. Do you host large dinner parties or prefer intimate meals? Do you favor minimalist aesthetics or layered complexity?
A typical collection includes dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, serving platters, and cups. We develop clay body and glaze options based on your preferences, then create sample pieces for approval before producing the full set.
Timeline varies between six to ten weeks depending on complexity. Sets include four to twelve place settings. All pieces are dishwasher safe and designed for daily use, not just display.

Sculptural Vessels
Work that exists at the intersection of function and form. These pieces might hold flowers, but that's incidental to their presence. They anchor a room, create contemplative focal points, reward sustained attention.
We approach each vessel as a unique investigation. Some emerge from wheel throwing. Others are built entirely by hand, coil by coil. Surfaces might be smooth as river stones or deliberately textured to catch light.
Glazing for sculptural work tends toward subtlety rather than drama. We're interested in how color shifts across a curved surface, how matte and gloss can coexist, how iron and copper create depth without overwhelming the form.
These are singular pieces. Once created, they're not replicated. Commissions typically take four to seven weeks from initial sketches to final firing.

Architectural Elements
Ceramic interventions within larger architectural contexts. We collaborate with architects and designers to create tile murals, wall installations, spatial dividers, and integrated elements that respond to specific environments.
Past projects include a bathroom installation using hand-pressed tiles with varying surface textures, a restaurant commission featuring custom wall-mounted vessels, and a residential project incorporating ceramic panels as room transitions.
These collaborations require technical precision beyond typical studio work. We work with structural engineers when necessary, provide detailed installation specifications, and often coordinate with contractors during implementation.
Project scope determines timeline and exact pricing. Smaller installations might complete in two months. Larger commissions can extend across a year, particularly for new construction where ceramic elements integrate with building schedules.

Private Workshops
Direct transmission of techniques through hands-on experience. We offer half-day or full-day sessions in our studio, limited to four participants to ensure meaningful individual attention.
Sessions cover wheel throwing fundamentals, hand-building methods, surface decoration techniques, or glaze formulation depending on interest level. We provide all materials and tools. Participants create pieces that we'll fire and prepare for pickup within three weeks.
These aren't casual drop-in experiences. We structure workshops for people genuinely interested in understanding ceramic process, willing to work through early failures, curious about why certain techniques produce specific results.
Half-day sessions run four hours. Full-day experiences include a lunch break and extend to seven hours. We schedule workshops on weekends to accommodate working professionals.
